As we enter 2025, let’s explore what the design world has in store.
Pantone, the global authority on colour and provider of professional colour standards for the design industries announced the Pantone® Colour Trend 2025). Published for the fashion industry by the Pantone Colour Institute, the trend forecasting and colour consultancy, this season’s report features the top 10 standout colours, as well as the five new seasonless shades we can expect to see as fashion designers introduce their new Spring / Summer 2025 collections.
Before revealing the colour of the year, it is useful to remember the Pantone Colour for 2024:
Without further ado, we can now reveal the selected colour for 2025:
PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse is a warming, rich brown hue. It is a bit more mellow than last year’s pink-orange choice.
COLOUR OF THE YEAR – DESIGN APPLICATIONS
While this colour inevitably awakens an inner desire for coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, and other delicious goods, Mocha Mousse suggests a sense of warmth and familiarity while simultaneously bringing a feeling of sophistication and lushness, especially when applied to design. Within the world of architecture and interior design, it translates into a warm and welcoming environment, cosy and comfortable. It offers a more traditional look in both Architecture and Interior Design
The associated materials that we can expect to increase sales in 2025 are terracotta tiles, brown bricks, medium oak stain, and mocha paint.
