As we enter 2026, let’s explore what the design world has in store.
Pantone, the global authority on colour and provider of professional colour standards for the design industries announced the Pantone® Colour Trend 2026. Published for the fashion industry by the Pantone Colour Institute, the trend forecasting and colour consultancy, this season’s report features the top 10 standout colours, as well as the five new seasonless shades we can expect to see as fashion designers introduce their new Spring / Summer 2026 collections.

Pantone’s Cloud Dance (11-4201) is a light, airy grey that sits delicately between warm and cool, and creates an atmosphere of serenity and spaciousness.

This colour offers a refined neutrality that brings calm, balance, and quiet sophistication to interior spaces. Its adaptability makes it ideal for modern, minimalist, transitional, and even classic interiors. Could Dance reflects light beautifully, enhancing spatial openness, but it also creates a serene background that encourages relaxation while allowing furniture and décor to shine.
Another advantage of this colour, is that it pairs effortlessly with both warm and cool palettes, leaving space for creativity and imagination.
Layer Cloud Dance with textured materials—bouclé, linen, oak, or travertine—to prevent the space from feeling flat. Accent with muted earth tones, soft blacks, or brushed metals for contrast.
