Recently we welcomed clients, partners, and familiar faces to a networking event with us at our premises. The aim was to showcase our work, connect with new people and re-connect with old ones, and demonstrate how we continue to embrace innovative technology within architecture.
Exploring Our Virtual Reality Experience
A major feature of the evening was the opportunity to experience our newest project — a New Community Facility in Bishop’s Waltham — through immersive virtual reality.
This is one of our most striking and comprehensive designs and viewing it in VR gave guests a true sense of scale and spatial quality. Feedback was extremely positive, with one attendee saying:
“Looking at this project in virtual reality is much better than a plan on paper as you can feel the sizing as if you were inside it.”
The project’s client also tried the VR model and was delighted, commenting that it exceeded his expectations and that he plans to share it with colleagues.
Throughout the evening, our team demonstrated how VR works to all attendees interested. The experience highlighted how we use VR Architecture to explore both interior and exterior elements in our architectural process.
Connecting With Clients and Partners
Our directors spent time speaking with clients, partnered companies, and current clients who were interested in our recent work. These conversations were relaxed, positive, and forward-looking. We were pleased to share information about our services, including Principal Designer Building Regulations, alongside valuable feedback from those already working with us.
Showcasing Innovation in Architecture
A clear takeaway from the event was our commitment to modern, technology-driven architectural design. Using VR allows clients to fully understand their spaces long before construction begins which is a major advantage in project decision-making and presentations for planning applications.
